Where is the studio?

We are on the top floor of 825 39th St S, next to Rougaroux. Our parking lot (yes, we have a parking lot!) is next to the Red and White lot. The studio is on the third floor, you can see an In Bloom sign hanging on the side of the porch.

If a class is labeled to be at Cha House, it will be held at 131 41st St S, Birmingham. In Bloom Yoga partners with Cha House, a local community tea house in Avondale, to provide accessible community classes

Can I go if I have never done yoga before?

Definitely! We welcome beginners and will explain each pose.

Do I have to bring props?

Nope! We have mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets for our students to use at the studio at the studio and at Cha House.

What do I do if I am running late?

Life happens! We understand if you are late. There is a spot for each student set out before class, just set up your mat quietly in an open spot and join in whenever you are ready.

Is In Bloom Yoga accessible?

Yes, In Bloom endeavors to create an accessible yoga experience for all bodies and walks of life. That being said, the In Bloom studio requires stairs to enter, whereas the Cha House studio is wheelchair/ADA accessible.

What is In Bloom’s mission?

In Bloom is committed to holding a safe and welcoming space for our LGBTQIA2S+ community members; this studio is owned and operated by queer teachers, allies, and artists who work diligently to ensure that Birmingham remains a loving and accessible space for everyone under the rainbow.
